Akshay Kumar will Hold 2010 Olympic Torch

Bollywood Superstar Akki (Akshay Kumar) is only person from the Indian film Industry who will have the opportunity to carry the honor 2010 Olympic Torch for Winter Olympics Games. The 2010 Olympic Games will be held in Canada from 12 Feb to 28 Feb 2010. Akshay Kumar, will be the Indian Ambassador in Olympic Games 2010 and represent Global Entertainment Industry.

Famous as Khiladi, Akshay Kumar is a martial art expert and regular practitioner. He has been associated with sports and sports related activities from a long period. He has also been the brand ambassador for Special Olympic (for handicaps) and worked with National Geographic Channel for the show named ‘7 Deadly Arts’.

Akshay always supports physical activity or sports related programs, his first National Open Karate Championship claimed good appreciation from audience.

The Olympic 2010 Game’s organizers have invited 15 famous global celebrities to Canada to carry the Olympic torch and Akshay Kumar will represent the global entertainment industry.

According to a source from the Olympic Committee, “At a high power and exclusive lunch for 50 CEO’s of Prominent Tourism Companies the Canadian PM will introduce Akshay Kumar as the sole torch bearer from India for the Olympics. The Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) will bring the Olympic Torch to the luncheon.”

This is a very huge honor for Akshay Kumar and rightly deserved.
