Producer Bhushan Kumar says Akshay Kumar is the best choice to play the role of his late father Gulshan Kumar because both have many similarities. He said: "Akshay is the apt choice for the role because he has many similarities with my father. Both are Punjabis and believes in Vaishno Devi.
