Bollywood congratulates team India for defeating Pakistan in World T20

India's match against Pakistan at Kolkata was no less than a Bollywood potboiler. After losing badly to New Zealand, it was a 'do-or-die' encounter for the home team. But there was high drama even before the start of the match as rain started pouring heavily at the Eden Gardens. In fact, it seemed as if the match might be abandoned.

But a positive twist in the story took place and the skies were cleared. The match commenced much to the joy of the crazily loud 90 thousand people present. Half way through the Pakistani innings, it seemed as if they would struggle to reach 100. But some late hitting ensured they reached 118.

It seemed as if India won't face much crisis to reach the target. However, a tragic twist awaited the hosts as they were reduced to 29 for 3. Suddenly, the noise of the crowd went down by many decibels. But Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh seem to have said, "Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost." Despite Yuvi getting out, Virat continued attacking and ensured a Bollywood-like happy ending.

Many of our Bollywood celebrities showed keen interest in the match, like they do during every important India match. The match was even attended by the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, who rendered a powerful National Anthem at the start, Abhishek Bachchan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ayushmann Khurrana and Aftab Shivdasani. Needless to say they were overjoyed.
