Here's the reason why Akshay's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is clashing with Shah Rukh's Raula!

Bollywood films always make a lot of noise when they feature the Khans and the Kumar and the noise doubles up when their films clash. Bollywood film clashes are not new phenomena. And 2017 already began with a clash when Shah Rukh Khan's Raees clashed with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. While SRK won the race it seems like the King Of Romance is on a clashing spree for 2017. We already told you earlier that the August of 2017 will witness the clash between Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar. 
Akshay's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was slated to release in July but the makers have pushed the release date to august clashing with Shah Rukh khan's tentatively titled film Raula helmed by Imtiaz Ali. While everybody is looking forward to this clash trade experts have already analysed the same. As per DNA, a trade insider said,  “Toilet is a content-driven film with only Akshay as the big name in it. The Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma love story between a guide and a tourist looks like commercial fare, Imtiaz style. So, when a smaller, content-driven film decides to clash with a film starring a Khan or a top hero, it gains far more in publicity and hype with a clash rather than a solo release and gets promoted on par with the bigger film.”
Another insider also told the daily the Imtiaz Ali's last few films haven't fared well at the box office and hence Akshay's film has a greater chance to win than Raula. But Imtiaz's film can do better internationally as SRK has a huge fan following while Akshay's Toilet: Ek Prem Katha can give a huge blow to Raula in home ground. 
Seems like August 2017 has a lot in store for the audience already.
We hope that both the film do exceptionally well.
