Priyanka Chopra on 'Quantico': Still waiting to see if there'll be season 3

Although she won the Miss World beauty pageant almost two decades ago, Priyanka Chopra tasted international fame in the true sense with her stint as FBI agent Alex Parrish on American crime drama 'Quantico'. After season 1 ended on a high, the makers got a go-ahead to take the show forward. But all good things must come to an end — or so it seems.

Season 2 has reportedly failed to keep the audience engaged and with dipping TRPs, getting the show back on TV might prove to be a challenge. In fact, 'Quantico' writer Joshua Saffron recently admitted they are unsure of a third season.

Priyanka also admits, "After every season, the channel [ABC] goes back to the drawing board and take a consensus to see which shows should return for another season and which stand cancelled, apart from a review of their budgets. Right now, we are in that phase. After season 1, we didn't know if season 2 would happen until May last year. So now, we are still waiting to see if there will be a season 3."
