After dating each other for six long years and living in together for a year, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif officially called it quits. The couple’s separation broke many hearts and ever since their fans have been waiting with bated breath to see them together on-screen.
It is said that Ranbir and Katrina weren’t in talking terms after parting their ways and the two avoided bumping into each other on various occasions. But now, their fans have a reason to rejoice as the duo will be seen romancing each other in Anurag Basu’s next ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
Reportedly, the musical adventure was in the making for about four years. After numerous delays, the shooting of ‘Jagga Jasoos’ has finally come to an end. Filmmaker Anurag Basu took to Twitter to share the good news and poked fun at the much-delayed release of the film.
Basu captioned it: "Day 1 Jagga Jasoos to Last Day Jagga Jasoos. How time flies." Have a look:
In one photo, Basu used Ranbir and Katrina’s childhood photos and morphed it as if they were holding hands. The other photo in the collage shows the actors smiling and stepping out of the studio hand-in-hand. Don't the look cute together?
Said to be a family holiday film, it tells the story of a teenage detective in search of his missing father. Jagga Jasoos was earlier scheduled to release on April 7 but the film’s shooting took indefinite time. And now that the film’s shooting has been wrapped up, it is being said that Jagga Jasoos may hit the screens on July 14, the same day as Shraddha Kapoor-starrer Haseena and Saif Ali Khan-starrer Chef.
