Did Aishwarya Rai Bachchan refuse ‘Gulab Jamun’ opposite Abhishek Bachchan?

Much has been speculated about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's next project. Recent reports suggested that the gorgeous actress will be doing a project opposite Abhishek Bachchanin 'Gulab Jamun', produced by Anurag Kashyap and directed by Sarvesh Mewara

Abhishek had even confirmed that they are both in talks for 'Gulab Jamun' but it is soon to reveal anything about the project as nothing is concrete as of now. Now, if reports are to be believed, it is stated that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has refused the movie as she wasn't convinced with her part.

A close source to the development told a leading daily, " Aishwarya's next film will be 'Fanney Khan' with Anil Kapoor. She has also said yes to Mani Ratnam's next. For now, she has asked the makers of 'Gulab Jamun' to make certain changes to the script and come back to her with the altered script, and then she will decide if she wants to be a part of the film. "

The movie titled 'Fanney Khan' was announced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra last year, which also marks the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar. The movie is co-produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Arjun N Kapoor and Prernaa Arora. The movie is said to go on floors by the end of this month.

Deepika replaces Priyanka in Two States

Siddharth Anand's newest movie on Chetan Bhagat's novel A couple of States apparently has Deepika Padukone replacing Priyanka Chopra. Director Siddharth Anand had announced his newest movie a few days back, also stating that Saif Ali Khan will probably be playing the male lead. Wherever as the female lead is yet being decided. While Priyanka Chopra was earlier signed as the female lead, the actress has now been replaced by Deepika. If this is genuinely true, then the audience will once more be seeing the Adore Aaj Kal pair on-screen. A source informed that producer Sajid Nadidwala and director Siddharth consider that Deepika Padukone is a better choice for the role of the South Indian girl than Priyanka.
